Life is meant for good friends and great adventures. And I had both.

Hey Everyone! Hope you all are doing awesome. Today I am sharing my life’s most thrilling experience( got goosebumps ) “Bungee Jumping“. When I was in India me and my friends decided to experience this extreme adrenaline rush and planned a trip to Rishikesh (which is India’s one of the religious places).

Rishikesh is a city, in Dehradun district of the Indian stateUttarakhand. Located in the foothills of the Himalayas in northern India, it is known as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’. Where people all over the world come for yoga camps and meditation. It is known as the pilgrimage town and regarded as one of the holiest places to Hindus.

There is this JumpinHeights who offers India’s highest fixed platform BUNGY JUMPING (Bungee) at Mohanchatti near Rishikesh. A Cantilever platform built over a iron cliff over looking a rocky river HYUL, a tributory of River Ganga.

All it takes is your courage, guts, spirit and love to jump with rubber cords tied to your ankles and unfold your wings in the open sky. Trust me you will feel the adrenaline rush like never before. Honestly, I was very scared of the height ( 83 metres which is roughly 273 feets and equivalent to jumping from a building approx. 22 stories high) from which I had to jump and that too in a great flying pose (which I never could ;))

This was the best I could pose

Jump Masters crew is from New Zealand to operate the Bungee. They really boost you for the good jump and courage. They will get you ready with all the rubber cords and safety measures. They have some segregation of cords on the basis of your body weight.

All it starts with measuring your body weight(they stamp your body weight on your fist, I was happy that I weighed low:). Then taking you to the bungee site.

Once you are all set with the safety measures, they take you to the edge of the platform and ask you to take half of  your feet out of the platform(which was like one of the heart pounding tasks for me, I was very scared 🙁 )

So, here comes the moment “3..2..1..BUNGEEEEE” where I failed to jump 🙁 and they took me back motivated me for the jump. They only give 2 chances to jump, if you are not able to jump in the second chance too then you gotta go back without bungee. After a dose of moral boost I was ready to jump in the second chance and ‘Bungee

After the Jump, the Jumpers are lowered down to a drop zone in the river which has only 2 feets of water. Walk up to the cafeteria and enjoy watching your photographs & video of the jump. Don’t forget to collect your Dare to Jump Certificate and video.

Jumping Heights also offer 83 m Giant Swing and Asia’s longest flying Fox too. If you are not able to do bungee jumping, then these are good options too.I really hope you like my post.
