Located at the Central Coast of California Big Sur is more a state of mind than a place to pinpoint on a map. This low populated town is the land shoehorned between the Santa Lucia Range and the Pacific Ocean. Big Sur is a long stretch along the coast between San Francisco and LA. The first glimpse of the enthralling and unspoiled coastline is a hypnotizing moment.

We flew to San Francisco, which is about four hours away from where we were lodging. Right from 17 miles drive we drove off to Big Sur. This might sound like a long drive, but it’s mostly along Hwy 1, which is just beautiful! It goes along the coast so you can see the electric blue Pacific Ocean as you wind along the highway.

Molera Big Sur Horseback Riding Tours : If you love horse riding then this is the thing you can’t miss. Riding in the lap of nature with all its unruffled beauty.

Kayaking in Pebble Beach: If you want the sea otter experience and the possibility of seeing a whale spout even, check out this awesome company for a good adventure in Monterey or Carmel. They offer kayak and bike rentals and tours, family bike (or surrey) rentals and standup paddle board rentals and lessons!

Hiking : There are certain hiking locations as Limekiln, Salmon Creek, and the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, which is where the famous McWay Falls is located (the waterfall right by the ocean).

Cheers!! to this beautiful serenity. If you ever get a chance to visit Big Sur don’t miss it EVER. I am waiting for my next chance:)
